We are doing the Disney Dining Plan, not Qs, not Deluxe... I appreciate all feedback... popcorn::

Day 1: Boma for Dinner
Day2: Tony's Town Square ( i have heard mixed reviews, but the menu looks decent)
Day 3: 'Ohana - 8:20PM!! :scared1: Its all I could get for now... hoping to get an earlier time eventually!!
Day 4: San Angel Inn or Tappan Edo?? WWYD??
Day 5: Nothing yet...
Day 6:Hollywood & Vine - I havent heard amazing reviews, but DS3 loves the characters and we are doing it for him and the Fantasmic dinner pkg.
Day 7: Nothing yet... Boatwrights Dining Hall possibly.

:surfweb: Take a look-see at our dining plans below, and let me know what your thoughts are - the Good, bad, nasty and delicious!!

Here's a few thoughts.. but you have been to Disney more than me!

How do you end up at Boma for dinner? Unless you want to visit that resort. If after Animal Kingdom... I think Tusker House and Yak and Yeti have great dinners right there in the park.

Tony's Town Sq. - If I could get an ADR, I'd change this to Crystal Palace. The food is great and DS3 would probably love Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet.

Ohana - Will DS3 be awake enough? When are fireworks that night? You can see MK fireworks from the Polynesian beach. Maybe just show up early and try to get in? I'd also keep trying. Ohana is a hard one to get but you never know when an earlier ADR might open up.

Teppan Edo - did that in 2008. No thrill. We have Japanese steakhouses everywhere at home and they all do the cooking tricks. Trying San Angel next trip.. seems like an interesting place. Also trying Garden Grill - character dinner in Epcot.

Hollywood and Vine. DS3 would enjoy. But double check. The last 2 years, characters were only there for breakfast and lunch, NOT dinner. You can always meet lots of characters at Hollywood Studios in the park.

Originally we were headed to AK that day, but since we are arriving that day from NH and we are driving, I didnt want to cut it too close... Considered changing it to the same day we are at AK... Great minds think alike!! Also i checked out the Yak & Yeti Menu on Allears.net and wasnt a huge fan of what was offered...

Tony's Town Sq. - If I could get an ADR, I'd change this to Crystal Palace. The food is great and DS3 would probably love Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet.
We did Crystal Palace last time we were at WDW... And since we are doing a buffett at Boma and H&V, I didnt want to over buffet-do it! Know what I mean... And Lady's menu looked pretty good!!

I was thinking the same thing about DS3... We plan to sleep in that morning and enter the parks later in the day. I am hoping to get an earlier ADR but this will do if its all I can get... If he is too exhausted, we will just cancel and get it next time. He is a good stroller sleeper and may konk out mid-day if we are lucky!!??

Teppan Edo - did that in 2008. No thrill. We have Japanese steakhouses everywhere at home and they all do the cooking tricks. Trying San Angel next trip.. seems like an interesting place. Also trying Garden Grill - character dinner in Epcot.

We do not have any japanese steakhouses near us, so I thought the kids would enjoy it more... I like the looks and ambiance that San Angle Inn has to offer but have hear not so good reviews about their food....

Hollywood and Vine. DS3 would enjoy. But double check. The last 2 years, characters were only there for breakfast and lunch, NOT dinner. You can always meet lots of characters at Hollywood Studios in the park.
I did double check and I rescheduled for 2pm so we were sure to get the characters he likes... Again we will sleep in and head in late so that we are not too drained by the time fantasmic comes along!!

Thanks so much for the feed back, always appreciated to bounce idea off of anf see other perspectives!!! Dh is snoring away next to me and is not a huge help!! Unfortunatly, I can only really concentrate on this stuff when the kids (DH included) are in bed and the house is quiet!! :rolleyes1

UPDATE: Here are my fine-tuned ADR's

Day 1: Nothing yet - we are arriving this day from our drive from NH, may be tired and will try Boatwrights Dining Hall... or we will save a TS for Narcoosees on our last night... room for a lil flexibility.

Day2: Holywood & Vine for lunch... Mostly doing this for DS3 - he is a huge Handy Manny fan. We have already been to Mama Melroses and was not impressed... Not impressed by any of the choices at DHS actually - anyone else feel this way??:confused3

Day 3: 'Ohana - 8:20PM!! Its all I could get for now... hoping to get an earlier time eventually!! If not I wil consider myself lucky I think!?

Day 4: San Angel Inn or Tappan Edo?? WWYD??

Day 5: Boma! Super excited about this one.. we are at AKP this day, so it seems like a smart fit.

Day 6:Tony's Town Square - we are at MK this day and will also be doing MNSSHP at 7, so it was a good fit and the menu options looks pretty good!

Day 7: Narcoosee's - since its our last night we thought it would be a fun idea, especially with Wishes taking place the same night!!

Take a look-see at our dining plans below, and let me know what your thoughts are - the Good, bad, nasty and delicious!!

Your ADRs look good.
We love Tony's Town Square and eat there every trip(this will be our 4th time eating there).
It's aways good to try a restaurant for yourself.
I hesitated the 1st time I booked Tony's but it was our best meal
of the trip. Love the Lady and the Tramp theme--very pretty inside.

I'm not a Big Buffet lover either (they kinda gross me out).

We are also trying San Angel Inn for the 1st time (even though it gets
very mixed reviews) I've always wanted to eat there--we're not into
Tex-Mex Food so won't be compairing it to that. The atmosphere
looks fun and unique.

Hey--I just noticed our trips may overlap.
We're going Sept. 25th--Oct3rd--We are eating at Tony's on Sat. Oct. 2nd for lunch.
Also I see you're staying at POR--That is my Favorite Resort up until now --It's Beautiful!! (love the Food Court at POR)

I would go wtih Teppan Edo personally. I have been to San Angel inn and it wasn't the best. I don't come from a place with lots of good mexican but I could definatly find better here and much cheaper.

I haven't tried Tony's Town Square because of the mixed review but I have come to the conclusion that each person is different and just because someone didn't like doesn't mean that it won't be the best meal ever. So I say stick with that one and see what you think.

And on arrival night I would suggest that if you aren't to tired to go to Earl of Sandwich or Woofgang puck express at DTD and use a QS.. They have great food and I aleays find it fun to start off my trip with DTD.. It makes for a nice relaxing disney filled evening w/o running around the parks..

You have great plans!

For Day 1, I would eat at the POR foodcourt and try their pasta bar. You will love Narcoosee's on the last night. :thumbsup2

For Day 2, we have always been really happy with Hollywood & Vine. We have only gone to the character breakfast, but it has been wonderful. I think lunch with Handy Manny for your little one sounds great!

For Day 3, Ohana's should work out great! Arrive around 8 p.m. and ask to be seated with a view of the castle. You may have to wait a few extra minutes, but you should be able to see the fireworks from your table. I think it would be lovely.

For Day 4, I strongly suggest Coral Reef. My DD loved it for each of her visits (at ages 2, 4, and 5). Ask for a table with a view of the aquarium. We have been so pleased with this restaurant. I suggest ordering the Grilled Mahi Mahi, topped with a spicy pineapple chutney over cashew-jasmine rice and finished with a coconut rum beurre blanc. It is heavenly! If you have your heart set on a World Showcase restaurant, then I would schedule lunch with Remy at Les Chefs de France. My DD loved seeing him and she liked the special attention from the server. I will see if I have any pictures! Or I would stick with Teppan Edo. We haven't tried it yet, but I plan to on our trip later this month. I think it could be fun for your DS.

For Days 5, 6, and 7, I think you have chosen well. We love Boma's and have really enjoyed our meals at Tony's. I do suggest that you not order the surf and turf at Narcoosee's, though. Either order the whole lobster or the filet. I have consistently heard bad reviews about the surf and turf there, and that was my own experience years ago, too. However, everything else on Narcoosee's menu gets rave reviews from me! It has always been a winner when I have dined there.

I think you are in for some REALLY special treats! Best wishes!
