Hello,

I have been reading here and just realized that I am confused about the actual timeframe of the free dining plan (we have booked it for December).

I assumed because they said it was "based on nights stayed" and expired at midnight on the last night it was for each day before a "night in hotel".

We arrive on the 13th of December. Our last night in the hotel is the 19th. Checkout is the 20th.

We have dining on the 13th through the 19th.

Do we have dining on the 20th or would that be "OOP"?

This could change how we go about planning our vacation (and could save us money :) )

You are correct, the dining plan is for each night of the stay. So in your case you have 7 nights of credits. But, they can be used till midnight of checkout day. So if you arrived late on the 13th and didn't use any, you effectively have on the 20th also. It is important to remember that the credits are a pool, you don't have to use them each day. So if you have the normal plan, for each person you have 7 * TS, 7 * QS and 7 * snack credits. You can use these as you please. So

Day 1: 1 * TS, 1 * QS , 1* Snack
Day 2: 2 * QS, 1 * Snack
Day 3: 2 * TS, 1 * Snack

is the same usage as

Day 1: 1* TS, 1 * QS, 1 * Snack
Day 2: 1* TS, 1 * QS, 1 * Snack
Day 3: 1* TS, 1 * QS, 1 * Snack

After 3 days in both cases, you have used 3 * TS, 3 * QS and 3 * snack. Doesn't matter how you mix them up.

Hope I haven't confused you even more :)

Hmm, forgot the rule :rolleyes2

You can use your unused credits on the 20th. They expire at midnight.
The one time we had it, we had a leftover credit we used for breakfast on checkout day.

You'll have 8 "days" to use your 7 "nights" worth of credits.

Ok! thanks guys! I think I got it now.

You are lifesavers. :worship:

We are going for the first time and I am really trying to do this "right". It is really a splurge for us at all (2 adults).

We weren't planning on a park day on the 20th but this might just change my mind--I want to see Cinderella's castle with the holiday lights but the MVMCP is not really an option.
