I'm not sure if this is budget related, but it is money related so............
My son received a scholarship for his art just recently, so they applied half to first semester, which was already paid for and the other half to this semester, which isn't paid for yet.
However, they sent him a refund check for the overpayment for first semester. The check is in his name (like he pays for his tuition). We are no longer on his account.
What do I do with this check? Can I deposit it to his account without him signing it and then have him make a withdrawal or can I have him sign the back of the check over to me and then deposit it to our account. And does he need to be with me? If he can sign it over to me what exactly does it say? He is only 30 minutes away, but it's not convienent.
I'm just going to use the money to pay off his tuition for this semester. Yeah!!!!!
