Check-in?

I'm not sure this is where I should post this but here goes anyway. We will be arriving at OKW on March 19th and my husband just read to me about checking in 10 days earlier and finding out where we will be staying and when we arrive our package will be ready. Is this already in place? When we have checked in the past we kind of go over with the CM member where our options will be. Sometimes we get what we want and sometimes we don't. How will this work now and will we just get what is offered or do we have some say in it. I'm sorry if this sounds like I don't know what I am talking about but that may be right. Am I confused and can we leave things just the way they were or does that give everyone else a 10 day advantage. Please help?

On line check in doesn't work yet.

And even if it did, it would not tell you where you unit is.

So what will online check-in give you? You obviously won't get your roomkeys and won't know your room assignment. All I see it doing is saving you time from putting your credit card on the room for charges.

Will they have a separate line for those already checked in online to pickup your keys?

The online check-in doesn't seem like it will save you much time at all.

The way I understand it, there will be a separate line for those who have done online check-in. You will be handed your packet with your information. So you skip the time at the front desk giving your information. If you are a person who likes to ask alot of questions as you are checking in, or want them to check for various room locations, this may not be for you.

My view.. it's Disney's IT shop therefore Online Check In will give them an opportunity to SCREW UP! I won't use it until other "suckers" have worked out all of the bugs. Disney's 'testing' has never seemed very robust!
