Can you get an early morning entry if your check-in is that day??

We were able to get rooms at the Villas for Wed-Sunday for one group and the other group on Thursday-Sunday but I was wondering if they were there in the morning could they get into the parks early before they could actually get into their rooms??

I might be wrong, but I think you can check in to your hotel as early as you like...you just may not have access to your room until later in the afternoon. But you definitely have to have checked in to the hotel first to get your room keys.

That's right, you can check in any time and with the room key, you have magic morning early entry the day of your arrival. But you must pick up the room key.

Yep! Check in, get packet and room keys, leave the luggage with Bell Services, get over to the park! Obviously, make sure you're checking in early enough to get all the way over to DL before the gates open. We checked in around 6am at PPH once, so we could make the 7am MM!

The answer is right there in my MM super thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1675403

Who? There are two ways of gaining the opportunity of using MM.
1) Buying ANY ticket of 3 or more days. This will entitle the ticket holder to one MM admission. There are some exceptions such as Gay Day tickets and convention tickets, but most big name ticket sellers have MM eligible tickets (Disney, AAA, Costco, So. Cal City Pass, most online sources such as ARES Travel)

2) Staying at one of the 3 onsite hotels (Grand Californian (including the new VGC DVC places), Disneyland Hotel, or Paradise Pier Hotel). This will entitle the hotel guests MM admission every day that it is offered during their stay (including arrival (yes, possibly before your room is ready) and departure days) regardless of where you buy your tickets from. For example, if a family was staying at one of the onsite hotels for a long weekend (visiting the parks Saturday, Sunday, and Monday). They would be allowed to use MM on both Saturday and Sunday; however, a guest staying offsite would have to pick one or the other.

Good to know!! I was thinking of having them fly in the night before and stay at the HOJO with our reservation and then move in the AM so we could get in early. Otherwise I couldn't get an early flight on Jetblue out of Seattle and would have to do Alaska and it was more money! So with the savings they can spend the whole day.

I've also checked in to a DLR property (two different times) at 6am (or earlier) in order to enjoy MM that very morning.

Nice perk. :thumbsup2
