Got an email from the WDW contact. Our trip is booked for December!!!!! We chose AKL and that is what we have. We love that place. I won't be totally excited till I receive comfirmation numbers. We also added on extra nights.

Oh yes. I am a frequent visitor to the Home Depot! I always attach one to my park bag. A couple of years ago I got on a bus to the Magic Kingdom and another Diser recognized my symbol right away! We talked for a minute, I didnt recognize her screen name though.

I may just have to go to my favorite department at Home Depot (they're so familiar with me, they gave me my own Behr fan deck), and pull some paint chips. I may do something with my ticker picture on a Mickey shaped head for a luggage tag.

Got an email from the WDW contact. Our trip is booked for December!!!!! We chose AKL and that is what we have. We love that place. I won't be totally excited till I receive confirmation numbers. We also added on extra nights.

That's awesome!!! Did you get your flight info or just your dates and hotel confirmed? My contact told me over the phone that we got our choice of date and hotel but he couldn't tell me when I would get my email. He also said he didn't know the rates yet for the additional nights but I know the form specifically listed $100-110 per night for the value.

I was glad they didn't block summer dates. We are doing the same thing. We have to travel in the early part of summer because of school and my 16 year old will be working. She has a school trip to France in 2013 she is working toward We sent in our dates and hotel request today, although we are going to WDW. I am hoping we get the Grand Floridian, it was our top pick! They sure made it easy to extend our trip with those forms. I was fretting about it.

Thanks! We go to WDW every year. This will be trip #13 for us since 2000. I was sooooooo tempted to choose DL but my dream has always been to stay at the Grand Floridian. I am so psyched! I wish we lived closer to WDW! My husband and I plan on retiring to Florida and working at Disney when we get older!

Cheyenne. I think my most favorite teacher (had her for 3 years) went to Cheyenne after she left EHS. Or is there a Cimarron on that side of town too? When I was there, there were 13 high schools, and now there are a gazillion. I think if we lived in the same house, and I was starting hs, I would be going to a Desert Bloom, or Desert Somethiing because there are so many schools now.

Yes, I am in the Phoenix area. My parents are still in LV. My dad is over in the Russell and Sunset area (closer to Sandhill). I go visit every few months, but I am so unfamiliar with the streets now. I can find my way to my dad's, but I can't remember street names.

Prescott is so beautiful, and cooler than Phx in the summer.

First of all, congrats to all that have won! I know this is wishful thinking but today I got a phone call while I was in a meeting from the area code 786. I have texted in everyday since the contest started. I called back and it told me to press 1 for English (which I did) and then to enter your partys extension or remain on the line if you don't know. I returned the call after 5pm so I don't know if this is the message when the office is closed? It propably isn't the phone call saying I won but I was wondering if anyone can confirm the area code that they call for or make me feel more at ease that I didn't miss my chance. Thanks and congrats again to everyone who won so far!

I looked at the Touringplans website and they estimate the resort level will be 7 and the parks 6.5 to 7 out of 10. It stays at that level until December 22. Hope that helps.

December is one of the worst possible times to go to WDW! It is wall to wall people and the lines are 90 minutes long. I guess everyone likes to go and see the Christmas decorations; it's pretty, but very crowded!!

Congrats! I LOVE AKL; not for the location since it's so far from everything, but for the atmosphere! Love waking up in the morning to giraffes outside my window! I'm still waiting to hear about my plans for DL; hopefully I will get my first choices as well.
