I didn't tell anyone outside of my immediate family until after I was an actual confirmed winner... It's still hard not to just randomly mention that to people. That's probably why I've posted so many messages here, fellow Disney-lovers.

We're planning on going to Disneyland since we wouldn't be able to afford to go any other way. The airfare alone is so expensive.

Just got a "trick" call. It was a number I didn't recognize but when I answered it was a recording that I "won" a special rate on a villa just outside of Disney World for $99/night.

Do you think Ventura or Disney would give/sell phone numbers to telemarketers? Weird coincidence

I think that deserves a triple happy dance party. We were planning on staying at the Disneyland Hotel, so we were kind of going in style, just hoping for really good package rates by October.

And I think technically we are at 9 OMDD winners, and the 1 who won the same type prize from her local radio station. I think it's been pointed out by other posters that it's not really the same thing, even if the prize is the same.
