FedEx left a door tag and I got excited for a few minutes before realizing it was just some replacement parts :upsidedow

Maybe he will have an extra envelope today when he tries to deliver it again, lol. :goodvibes

I've been entering regularly via text, and have been successful in the message going through every time. But, I thought this morning "maybe I'll switch it up and enter online." So, I tried to login using my regular WDW website login information, and I can't. Do I have to create a new login just for the contest?

Thanks! And good luck to everyone! And of course, congratulations to all the winners so far - I'm available to travel with you if you require a 4th person! ;)

I drove by my house at lunch - no fed ex.

I won a trip to Europe last summer (non disney) so I really can't complain. 10 day cruise to italy, greece, turkey, 2 nights before in rome. Ahhhhh I miss vacationing like that.

This thread has me really curious. Is there a very high probability of winning this contest? It's a serious question. I've seen being excited about a contest and wanting to win (I'm both of these things,) but I'm reading a lot of posts from people worrying about issues that might arise if they win, and a lot of people that seem to have an EXPECTATION that they will win. I've never seen this kind of reaction to a contest, so I'm wondering if I have a better chance of winning than I think?

No expectations, but I have dreams :cloud9: And it is kind of fun to think about what we would do if we won, and for my family of six that includes some add ons. But no worrying either.. just more dreaming...

I think there's a lot of very positive people in this thread who are hoping for the best.

In terms of chances, while I don't think I have a shot in hell of winning, I do think my chances are better at a contest with 60 trips instead of 1.

Who knows. You've got just as good a chance as everyone else here. But lets remember the ratio of Disney fans to internet message boards. For everyone here who entered, it's safe to say another 1,000 (at least!) who don't post here did too :)

Well, there's a higher probability here than most contests, since there are 60 opportunities to win. Mostly though, I think a lot of people on TheDis fall under the "extreme planner" category when it comes to their trips, so that's just playing out in their hopes for winning the contest.

When entering online, you have to delete your cookies for it to work. I set up a browser I don't use much (IE) to auto delete my cookies upon exit just so I can enter this contest daily without having to delete the cookies by hand in my regular browser.

:thumbsup2 to all of the above.

I swear as each day goes by, instead of my hope diminishing - it increases. Just a few minutes ago I heard a truck come up the street, idle and then a door slammed shut. Adrenline shot through me, I leaped out of my computer chair, peered out the window, and and...

it was a truck all right - dropping off my daughter's newspapers to be delivered tonight.. :lmao:

Maybe I'm drinking too much tea?

I have absolutely NO expectation that I'll win because I never do with contests. If Fed Ex shows up at my door I would think it was for something we bought. :rotfl:

Hmmm, I had the opposite. I wanted to set up a login for DH with his email address and when I clicked on "enter", it automatically came back with "contratulations you are entered" without even asking me to sign in. Guess it still had my info open from a previous trip pricing or something. Now this peeved me because I already entered today via text, so I guess now I'm disqualified for the day:guilty::guilty:.

I don't expect to win but 1/2 the fun is dreaming about how much fun it would be to win. I always enter contests and I consider myself a lucky person. I think you have to be positive and believe you will win.

Yeah, I started getting that happening as well during the second week. :headache: I enter myself and my husband. I looked everywhere on the OMDD contest page and could not find anything to sign out from.

After 2 or 3 days I discovered the trick to stopping that. Each morning I enter my husband's e-mail. Then I go to WDW Resort's home page where I discover my husband is magically logged in. I sign him out. Then go back to OMDD's contest page and now I am able to enter my e-mail address without getting the "congratulations you are entered" a second time.

The only thing I can suggest to those who enter both husband & wife OR are switching between texting or online daily is to head over to WDW Resort's page and log out after you enter the contest online.

You could also each use a different browser - one use Firefox, one use IE.

I do a lot of contests-and most say "One entry per person" sort of thing

Because this is 60 seperate contests, the general public will enter once and forget they have to enter daily;)

So i honestly think DISers, who are disney maniacs- DO have a better chance!:cool1:

Agreed! Also, most of the general public may not have correct/updated home address info AND/OR check their junk folder. They could win and be disqualified shortly after without even knowing. All of which increases the odds for DISers once again.

AHHH, now I realize that I won, and was disqualified because the disney site had my old address. That makes more sense! :) (But it really did! Glad I checked, lol.)

Seriously, though, thanks for all of the replies. For those of you replying that it's just positive thinking, re-read the thread. I'm the girl that loves the few seconds right before I take the mail out of the mailbox just because there MIGHT be something good there, so I know positive thinking. There are plenty of those posts, and even ones that take it too far in a funny way. I'm talking about the posts that are far more than that. They really had me , like, is there something about this contest I don't know? That being said, I think this thread is already messing with my head, because my gardeners just pulled up and I totally turned my head to see if it was the Fed Ex truck!:yo-yo:

Can any of the winners tell me from what address the email comes from alerting you to possibly winning?

I want to make sure it wont get filtered by my work email....perhaps I should change it to my gmail account to be sure.

Sydnerella's Mama

So when our names get drawn, don't we get an email or phone call before a FedEx package would show up at the door???

it states in the rules you must confirm via email or they move to the next person.
so i am not sure why some say they have just got a fedex package without knowing ahead of time
