I was able to check in this morning, YAY! However, I could not add FP+. Am I early???
Also, can we request actual room numbers? If so, how? I did request a building and a floor.
I'm a newbie at all the online stuff. :)

TIA

Do you have park tickets linked?

There isn't a way to request a specific room online via early check in however you can always call and request a specific room. They will make a note on your reservation but will give you the "it's not a guarantee" speech.

I was able to check-in at my 65 day mark, but couldn’t do FP+ until 60. I think they changed the exact date you can do online check-in ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

FP+ booking starts at 60 days before check-in, at 7AM Eastern Time.

Guests must have WDW tickets linked to MDE and a WDW resort reservation linked to MDE.

No, they didn't change the date... they changed the TIME.

It remains 60 days before check-in, at 7AM Eastern Time.

Idk. Must have been a glitch in their system. I was able to check-in last week, but my 60 day mark is today. Maybe that means Tinker Bell is just extra excited for us to arrive? Hahaha

I was talking about FP+ booking.

Thanks everyone! I calculated my 60 days as of tomorrow. I was just surprised when I logged into my MDE account today that it said to Check In..... I always thought check in and FP+ opened the same day.
WHEW!

There is a glitch/change/whatever when it comes to online check in. Heck, it's allowing me to check in for a May 2018 trip and we have not even hit our ADR day as of yet.

If you want to make requests that are more specific than the options listed in online check-in, you have to call them in. Or, if you have a touring plans subscription, you can use their website to fax requests. I wouldn't request a specific room number. You will have more luck requesting what you would like in a room. For example, "building 4", "high floor", "south facing room". I would also keep the requests to 3 requests and put them in order of priority. That way the room assigner knows what you would like in a room. If you simply put "room 2014" and it's not available, they will, likely, just put you anywhere without any knowledge of why you requested that particular room.

We used the drop-down menu on the MDE site to request what we could (not a lot of choices), and then faxed more specific requests. We will fax again when the trip is 3 or so days out.

I'm staying at AoA after Thanksgving...two adults in the Little Mermaid section...how do I request a room with a queen size bed??...what are the sizes of the beds in the regular 2-bed rooms??
