I'm a BLT member and wondering if anyone else had this experience......................(and maybe it's just my lack of knowledge)

When I went last week to check in for the lounge she checked to see my key card which says I'm a DVC member...........however, it didn't seem that they checked that I was a BLT DVC member staying on points at the resort before they let me go up. Aside from the key card entry with your BLT card, what do they check on that card to make sure that someone who's a OKW member (for example) doesn't follow someone in the building and go up to the lounge?

Yes and no, owners at other resorts are allowed to use the lounge and observation platform IF the are staying at BLT on a DVC reservation.

The key card code identified you as both a DVC Member AND as staying at BLT, even though the cards look identical, each is coded for their own resort. The first four numbers on the key card identify the resort.
