check in and other hotel info

hi

does anyone know what time you can check into a disneyland resort hotel?
we will be at the resort by about 9.30am.

also when i have been abroad (not disney) before i have used other hotels swimming pools just for a bit of a change. can you do this at disneyland? although were not really a pool family just wondered if the option was there.

Hi, check in is after 3pm, you can pick up your park tickets when you arrive and leave you luggage in storage at the hotel untill you room is ready.

You are not allowed to use the other hotel pools, you have to show your resort ID to go in the pools.

Yes, officially its after 3 p.m.. But try and ask for a free room, sometimes you can get one sooner. There are often some families who got up early for their departure and their room is already tidied up. We were lucky about three times. So we checked in two times at noon and one time at 9 a.m.

We've always found that the room is ready when we arrive around 1.30pm so you may be ok. Where are you staying?

thanks for that. were just staying in the santa fe. hopefully we will be able to get in early. when we check out it will be before 8am so hopefully someone else will be doing the same. if not then we will just hit the park. i didnt know you could pick up your park tickets earlier than check in so thats a bonus too. i just assumed it was linked.

Officially there is a 3pm heck-in time for the Disney hotels, but we've never really had to wait that long to get into the room.
However, it doesn't really matter as you get your pack passes straight away and there is a place to securely leave all your luggage, so you can get started in the parks 'til your room is ready!

as its only like an hour flight we wont be too tired to hit the parks straight away. i cant wait now and just want to get there and see mickey and ride some fast rides so as long as we have somewhere safe to dump the luggage then ill be happy.
