Check in 60 minutes prior to Droid Depot reservation time?

Under the terms and conditions, it says that check in is 60 minutes prior to scheduled time. Does that mean you are able to check in an hour prior or that you MUST check in an hour prior?

This was mentioned in another thread too and I don’t think there’s confirmation.

The website says:

“Guests should check in no earlier than 15 minutes prior to their reservation time at the check-in location in front of Droid Depot.”

My email confirmation says: “Check in 60 minutes prior at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at the Droid Depot Location Entrance.”

I hope the website is right.

I’m guessing this is to get people checked in and keep the line moving because it can build up if a lot of people are there at once.

I hope we get confirmation soon of whether it’s an hour or 15 minutes...that makes a huge difference! I cancelled my Oga’s Cantina reservation that was supposed to be before and made it for after our Droid Depot time just in case the hour is required.

Hmmmm I made reservations to Ogla's, Droid Depot and Savi's. The only one that says 60 minutes is the Droid Depot, the other two say 15 minutes and for Olga's it specifically states no earlier than 15 minutes. I am guessing it's 15 minutes but will check in the park the day I go in September.

That makes sense. I think I’ll book another on our 2nd HS day as a backup until check in timing is confirmed. I’d prefer to build it on our first HS day, but if we need to check in an hour early we may cut it too close coming from Epcot.
