Check Cashing

I will be staying at CSR next week and want to know if Disney will cash a check for their guests. I will take cash, but thought I would cash a check a few days into the trip.

I don't believe they do it. The ATM at Wilderness Lodge was broken and I when up and asked if I could cash a check. They said no, but they would give me a cash and put that on my room charge and then charge it to my credit card. Which worked for me because I knew I was paying the credit card off when I got home and all the money was coming from the same place.

Since you will be staying at a Disney resort they will offer you the option of charging to your room key. We always do this since this allows us to carry much less cash around. All the restaurants and shops (and some of the carts) will charge to your room. You can get a daily print out from the front desk if you want to check your charges. At check out they will give you a listing of all the charges made to your room during your stay. This makes your stay much easier (as long as no one goes overboard in charging souvernirs!).
As long as you plan on paying off your credit card when the bill comes it will cost you nothing.

You can also write a check to pay off your room charge so that may be an option for you.
