Cheapest way to buy WDW tickets for Canadians?

something to consider is that UT offers a refund for unused tickets. I'm not sure if CAA or the Disney store do that. While no one likes to think their trip will get cancelled, for us, the cost of the tickets is a hefty chunk of change. Knowing that I can return and get a refund on the tickets is just peace of mind for me.

I have a question about purchasing tickets. Can you purchase them ahead of time, like 1 month or 2, and have no problems using them ....Or Do they have an experation date, Do you have to use them right away....:goodvibes

Hey tigger, it was 2230 points for 1 - 7 day base ticket for adults. I got them now because I thought the amount of airmiles might increase if ticket prices increase August 1st as rumoured. Last time we used our points for airfare, it was a rip off. We learned our lesson the hard way. We paid $1200 WITH airmiles because we had to pay the tax and I got cancellation insurance so if we didn't go for some reason, we wouldn't loose all those airmiles it took us 4 years to save. I've become smart when it comes to "flight shopping" thanks to these boards. We will now always fly out of Buffalo or Syracuse, unless we get a seat sale out of Toronto. For our trip in Sept our flight cost $1250 total, with Westjet, direct flight, good times , etc, for the 4 of us without using airmiles. Everytime I think of it , it really annoys me!!
