Directly from Disney’s site. There aren’t any tricks or workarounds with one day tickets, other than *possibly* getting them from attending a shady timeshare presentation somewhere 😵

Buy Disney Gift Cards at a discount (Target has the, for 5% off of face value when you use their credit or debit card). Consolidate the GCs on Disney gift card.com so that all the funds are on a single GC. Buy the ticket on Disney’s website. Pay with the gift card.

What about the Disney Visa card with $200 statement credit?
Definitely possible but you will have to wait to be approved for the CC and then purchase your tickets. Depending on when you're going in August, that could be well inside of your 30-day Fastpass window.

If interested in the Disney visa card ...apply via WDW website ...offer is for a $250.00 statement credit after spending $500.00

And you don't get the $250.00 credit until after the $500 spent has posted on your bill. Nice for the future but don't see how that will help you for August.

For our experience, applied for the card, once received, spent the $500.00 immediately (the same day as the credit card came in the mail). Received the bill (which included the $49.00 annual fee). By the time the bill was due, the $250.00 credit had already been applied to our account - on line. I just sent a check for the difference. It was all taken care of with one bill. Credit was not listed on our first statement, but just kept checking before the due date. It worked well for us because we had a plan in place for the required spend amount needed. Must just have been the right timing.
