Hi all

Just wondered what you have found the cheapest way to book ... we will probably go via Folkestone and take our car as the prices we are being quoted for Eurostar from Ashford are ridiculous !

Any particular websites cheaper than others or offer better deals ? Or are TA better?

We have always booked the different elements of the holiday separately - travel, hotels etc :)

Booking accomodation direct with Disney has always been our best option.
It may be worth thinking about buying passes and accomodation separately if your stay is going to be 3 days and over. Although pricing annual passports and room only booking may make your head hurt it is worth looking in to :)

We want to stay for three nights but only have 3 days at the parks - the "4th" day we are planning to go to Paris and then home. However, all the prices on the Disney website seem to be for 4days/3nights and you do not have the option not to buy the tickets for the parks ..... am I missing something here ?

We are going by Eurotunnel from Folkestone as I think this will be much cheaper for us ..... so having a car will enable us to then spend the whole 4th day in gay paris (well that is the plan) !

If the hotel plus tickets option doesn't suit you, then you can look at Expedia for room only rates. They do Disney onsite hotels.

For tickets only, you could see what Attractiontix or 365tickets come up with.

If you are a Tesco customer have you thought about using your deals tokens for the tunnel?? We went 2 weeks ago and a crossing with our motorhome that should have cost us £160 cost us nothing...just used £40 in deals tokens and it was brill!! Straight on the train, made a cup of tea and we were there in 35 minutes. The trip down to DLRP is about 3 hours (we did stop a few times!).
Don't forget the 30 euros for the toll road.;)
Regards
Annie

You arent planning to drive into Paris are you? Aaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not planning on driving in paris - but my husband is !

Mwwwwhahahahahaha :rotfl:

He is very good actually and has driven in Valencia (just as mad as paris I think), and a few other mad cities.

If it really isn't a very good idea maybe we could do the whole train thing instead .......

I think this would be a good idea :)
When I worked in Paris having bumps because everyone drove so close just became a part of the driving experience :headache: :lmao:
Trying to get off the Arc de Triomphe is an interesting experience :scared1:

Driving round the rest of France is very easy :goodvibes

Thanks forthe feedback again - at the planning stage so open to lots of ideas and suggestions ... we planned on taking the car because it seemed like the cheapest option (Eurostar was stupid prices) ...

What is it like there ? Do you feel that you are still in a Disney Hotel ... or is it too far away from the site.

How about parking when you get to Disney - is it OK ? Would you go back ?

We always go by car through Euro tunnel and have done loads of driving in France (well DH has if Im honest) but would never ever drive in Paris itself!!!!!!!!!!

Apart from the actual driving I wouold imageine finding your way round would be a nightmare as well as finding somewhere to park and cost of parking.

It is really easy to drive from tunnel to DLP though.

It is also really easy to have a day in Paris by leaving car at DLP and getting RER there
- loads of threads on here about day trips into Paris including a recent one
