If staying offsite for 6 nights (5 park days, one park per day, no mid day break) what is the cheapest mode of transportation? Assuming it's about a 20-30 minute drive. Uber there and back each day? Rent a car and pay for parking? Any other options?

Thanks.

You will need to run your own math. Car rentals vary widely due to what people will and won't book. You cannot use the math of someone who only rents from A when you're will to rent from B or C or have a special discount for D. As for rideshare estimates, you can pull up estimates using the rideshare app. Type in an address of where/ish you will be even if you don't have the exact location yet and your destination and you'll see estimates. Expect somewhat higher prices if trying to return right after nighttime shows.

The bravest of the money savers learn the local bus system as that is the cheapest transport in the area. Convenient? Not so much.

Okay thank you. I've never rented a car before... that's always something my husband has done. I took a look and you're right there are a lot of options and widely different prices.

I don't think I'm willing to take the bus.

In your option what is the most convenient? Uber to and from the parks or having your own vehicle? I've never driven so I'm wondering what the parking lot is like trying to leave in a rental car after the park closes. Is it pure madness/traffic jam getting out of the lot? Also what is it like trying to park in the morning?
