Cheapest places for gas on I-5 north of DLR

I'm going to assume you're leaving from the Yreka area. The distance from there to Stockton is 305 miles. If you can't make it that far, then Woodland or Sacramento will be a good place to fill up. Beyond Stockton to the south, the gas stations are harder to find and prices are a bit higher.

I like to stop in Kettleman city (and eat at In-N-Out Burger). Other good spots for food and gas are Lost Hills, Buttonwillow, and Gorman.

It's pretty high on the 5. Not sure of your itenerary, but IF you were to kick around Gilroy there is a Costco by Walmart. It's not worth the trip JUST for gas but if you were planning on doing other things in Gilroy I would gas up at Costco.

If you are near Gilroy then you would have to go to Casa!! They have Casa de Restaurant, Casa de Wine, Casa de Train and more hahah!!! They also have a Renaissance Faire there in the Fall.

According to Alborts site the gas station I mentioned is in the top group at $3.25 as of today (:sad2: its $3.45 here), its 7667 E Slauson Ave & Gage Ave & I-5 South.

That's the one at the Carmenita off-ramp, I believe. Always good prices, though the ARCO and Valero on Harbor south of DL were reasonable last weekend.
