Cheapest place to book on-site Universal Hotels?

Hi guys, I've decided to treat my girlfriend and her Mum and Dad by booking a room at the RPR for the first weekend of our upcoming trip, 02/10-03/10. I'm only booking one night on the 02/10, and will not be using the room. I purely want the 2 full days of unlimited Express :cool2:
The cheapest rate I had found on a UK site was £195, and that included 10% quidco rebate through hotels.com. I've just found another site called Discover Orlando that does it for £181 after dollar conversion and with booking fee.
Does anybody else have any other sites they've used to get a cheaper rate at the on-site hotels?
Thanks for your time! :thumbsup2

If you are a AA member it might be worth contacting the hotel direct since AAA discount is often up to 15% :)

I booked my week's stay at RPR through Universal/Lowes direct. The advantage of this is if your rate drops you can call up and adjust to the lower rate (which I did), whereas if you book elsewhere you won't have this option. Just to point out as well as it's a weekend stay it will be slightly more expensive than a weeknight.

Annual Passholder Rate for that night is $214 at RPR. Do you already have park passes? If not, it might be worth looking into getting one Annual Pass. You don't need to have the pass at the time of booking. You'll need to add room tax which, from memory, is around 12%.

There don't appear to be any AAA rates available for that night.

Thanks for your help guys! We don't have AA membership and have already bought all of the $99 7 day tickets, so I think I'll just go ahead and book with Discover Orlando :)

They are lovely hotels a shame not to make use if you have paid for the night. It made a huge difference for us being able to use the Front of line passes, much more time to explore (laze) around the hotel and pool. And don't forget city walk if you stay over you can go out in the night without worrying about driving. We stayed a few nights at HRH and would love to stay for at least a week next time.

I agree. We've often stayed in a villa and taken a night or two out to stay onsite, either at WDW or UO. It's great to be able to throw a few things in an overnight bag and leave the rest at the villa. If you had your stay part way through your trip, the prices might be cheaper.

:)Hi, I absolutely would stay on-site for the night if it were just my girlfriend and I, but we're going with her parents as well, and I just don't feel totally comfortable sharing a bed with their daughter in the same room as them. We've been together for nearly 7 years, but it still doesn't seem right some how! Silly, I know! :upsidedow
I might get them to take their cossies though, in order to have a swim in the afternoon :thumbsup2
I'm actually thinking of paying an extra £10 to stay at the Hard Rock now, as it's a slightly closer walk for this purpose. I'm just having a last minute look around before booking. I'm hoping that they are still allowing the early access into WWOHP in October for hotel guests, as two days of early Hogwarts entry will also be a great perk!
Thanks again for your help guys, you've been great! :cool1:

How do I get the Annual Pass rate Im going to be picking up the passes when I arrive and am looking to book hotel before I leave at discount rate :)

We have an AA card and would like to book a night at the HRH, please can anyone give me the number to ring to get the discount. Also what is card called in the US please, as I`m sure we have to say something different to AA.

Many thanks
