What is the lowest you have seen Chicago to Orlando? I have seen $68 for the low but was wondering if it has gone even lower...

I have $66, but I heard of people who have received less. I'm going into TPA and out of MCO for about $150 RT with taxes. Not bad!

ETA: You may want to ask over on the transportation board instead.

Not using Ding, my husband and I got fares from Chicago to MCO for $55 each way through one of Southwest's internet specials in April 2004 (we traveled in June 04). So sign up for SWA's e-newsletter as well...sometimes they will post deals in there that aren't considered Ding fares but are still good.

I believe it was listed at $66-68 but when we booked it came to $155/pp round trip. FYI the same fare is up there right now!

A couple of weeks ago I booked a Ding fare for the October timeframe from Midway to Orlando. $115.00 round trip!!!!

$115 for me too ! It might say $68 or something, but type in your dates and often it will come up cheaper !

I used Ding and got RT for $103. :cool1:

I got my tickets on 4/6. The best part was I had signed up for
Ding on 4/5. I couldn't believe it. The best price I had previously
was $79 each for a total of 179 (with all the taxes & fees).

Ding is a program that you download from the Southwest site. They send deals directly to your desktop. Initially, there were a lot of deals. I think there are now fewer and fewer real discounts. That may be because this is a busy summer travel season.

Thanks! That's good to know :).

Yep, 115.00 for me too. It was 55.00 each way (without taxes). I never flew so cheap. This fare was from Ding.

make sure you check the ding dates, right now its for travel between aug. 1 thru oct 28th, if you wait to long, the dates will change and you will not be able to get earlier dates. i want to go in the end of june or july, i waited, the next ding the dates were aug. 1. so dont wait, its hard to commit in a few hours but worth it. ;)

I can't get Ding to load. Everytime I start it, it locks my PC. Has this happened to anyone? I guess I'll have to ask SW what the problem is.
