Hi everyone!! My mom and niece are flying down to Orlando to meet us there in May. They are flying out of Manchester, NH. Has anyone by any chance found any really good airfare rates lately?? if so, what site?? Thanks in advance!!

Have you tried putting the dates into Kayak.com they are a great search engine that searches all the major airlines!

I don't know if you have Southwest, but they are flying $59 each way out of Hartford, CT. Not too far to drive to save good money. Click the discount airfare link near the top right of the DIS homepage.

I don't think kayak tracks SouthWest flights - I know, I've tried. Nor have I seen JetBlue fares there. They may be discount airlines but I consider them major airlines, too.

IMHO, The OP's best bet is to download Ding! since SW flies out of Manchester, NH.

We are going in early May... right now we only have the 1st leg booked on Southwest out of Providence. I was hoping for Manchester but PVD came up with better "Ding" on SW. I've been watching MHT & PVD for return flight but still high. May even fly Jetblue into Boston. LOVE jetblue but also really like SW.

The good thing about SW is that you can book and rebook online. If you book a flight and the price goes down, you can rebook and put the remaining money into Southwest dollars that you can use later or transfer to someone else.

SW has been SO high. We live in Massachusetts closer to Rhode Island and usually fly SW however they rates were crazy for May so we're flying with Delta out of Boston for $217.00 each taxes included. Have to go where the good rates are. Good Luck

Agree... that's part of why I've given in and said we can fly out of one airport and back into another if need be. I live in Central Mass. so BOS, PVD and MHT are all about 1 hour away.

I'm personally boycotting Delta... they really screwed us up on our trip last May so I swore we would not use them again. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some good Dings from SW!!

:rolleyes1

I won't fly anything but Southwest! ever. Who else will fly you (CA to FL)cross-country for $73. Some airports are cheaper than others, and it makes no sense. I usually have to fly out of San Diego rather than LAX for cheaper & no plane changes, but its worth the extra hour drive!

I flew out of Manchester to Orlando on Feb 04 of this year and paid $155 per person, roundtrip on Southwest.

Good luck!

RIght now for my one way to MCO out of PVD, we are flying for 89 person incl. taxes and fees. I wasn't jumping for joy over the fare but it was good none the less. It was Dinging for 56 only two weeks earlier! Uugghh!! I'm just waiting w/ fingers crossed for a good Ding. RIght now it is 148 for the return. Yuck!

Still love Jetblue and they have a return to BOS for 99. I know they've had a bad few weeks but I've only had great experiences with them.

So SW or JB for me!! Someone say a prayer to fare gods for better fares soon!! :wizard:
