OK been shopping around for my Jan trip. Have priced up the following via www.disneylandresortparis.com

24th - 26th Jan
Sequoia Lodge
1 x Montana room with 2 adults, 1 child (6) and 1 infant (2)
1 x Montana room with 4 adults

The total for this comes out at £783.70 including kids go free discount, 3 day park passes and breckie

Rang the Shareholder line - goes through the same request......£829.80!

So I asked - does that include the discount for shareholders to which they said yes. Anyway I thought maybe I was just misunderstanding so I rang back - went through it all again with a different person....same price.

I've tried the room only price but even with that and 15% off three day passes its still more expensive than the package price. I've also costed via expedia etc but still works out more expensive.

Now bearing in mind its the end of Jan and its not a special season any ideas why I can get it cheaper online than through shareholders? I said to them but thats more expensive than it is online and all I got was "well thats the price it's coming out at".

I think your problem is that I don't believe you can combine the shareholders discount with other offers - and hence I would think that the shareholders pricing you've receive includes the children.

I have booked many times via the Shareholder number. And for me it was always exactly 10% cheaper than it would have been online or in the brochure.
But sometimes you need to explain them the different discounts. Like “But I can combine kids go free and the shareholders discount!”

Or maybe there is an “1 night 1 day for free" offer. This can’t be combined with the shareholders discount.

If you use the Sharholders discount you do get the children free offer, but you can't have a day/night free.

When I rang to book my last trip the CM that I spoke to checked for the best deal either with or without the shareholders discount. I was told that the 1 night/1 day free offer was a better deal.

Oh that explains the whole thing. If I would have known that you want to use the 1 day 1 night for free offer than I could have told you that you can’t get the 10% for that offer. But the CM’s should know about that. And as cstokell said, the one night one day free offer is always much better than the 10% shareholders discount. :thumbsup2

We would not be using the day night free offer as we are only going for 2 nights anyway.

I'm going to try ringing again - just to clarify when I rang I used the shareholder number on the back of my card - I spoke to a French lady (I speak french so I was really clear about what I wanted to do - but she immediately put me through to an english speaking booking line. Is that normal?

Got it sussed now - its because the internet is offering me 15% off and shareholders only 10%.
