Cheaper Month to go?

Which month of these is cheaper to go to FL--February or May??? My friend and I are trying to decide and we were thinking of going down around Valentine's Day but if that don't work out we were thinking of going in May but I'm wondering which month will be financially cheaper as far as hotel, car rental and airfares go...Also wondering how the crowds will be down there...TIA!

May. But not memorial day weekend. Valentines day is also presidents weekend. Peak rates. Pretty expensive and more crowded
