DD wants matching pjs for herself and her new doll and I'm wondering if there are cheaper alternatives out there? We have a few of the matching Dollie and Me dresses and the doll dresses fit her bitty baby perfectly, do they fit the full size AG girl dolls too? Any other alternatives?

I bought each of my DDs a set for Xmas...they go up to at least size 10-12. They only had nightgowns, but I had a 30% off coupon, so I only ended up spending about $10 each, so can't complain...

They definitely go up to size 12 because that's what I got. See my link above, they actually go up to size 16.

The link shows they go to size 16 but none of the nightgowns shown are any larger than a 7. I was able to get my dd a robe in 12 but that is it.

I do not recommend Kmart-but they do have larger nightgowns in stores and online under the brand "What a Doll".

I bought the "What a Doll" sets at Kmart. I wanted two doll pjs since my daughter has two preferred dolls, so I bought the pjs in her current size and the next size up. That way I got two doll outfits and she will get to wear them longer. They were on sale for $8.66 per set, but I believe that sale has ended now.

Yep. I just received my order in the mail today. It is from The Lakeside Catalog. www.lakeside.com
They have a pink nightgown with silver stars with a matching 18" doll nightgown for$8.95. I haven't opened it yet and not sure the quality, but since they grow so fast, I don't need this item to last past when she grows out of it. They have sizes 4-8.
My daughter specifically requested a matching nightgown, so when I saw this (and didn't have a lot to spend), I jumped on it. Order soon as they do tend to run out of things close to Christmas and you want to allow shipping time.

I've also seen clothes at Kohl's. My mother-in-law has found matching dresses at Kmart, but they fit bitty not the 18".

I didn't order online. I went in the store and there was a very large selection of the "bigger" sizes.
