So, like many of us, I wanted to go to Universal for a day; my daughter is reading Harry Potter, so it is a big deal for her. Aside from park tix, the cab fare or cost of any transport is very expensive.... So, I took the plunge and tried the Uber app.
It is the best decision I made this trip. I got a $30 free credit for my first ride, so the transport was $3! This saved me about $40 from the Mears cab! The app is very easy to use, and the driver even works for Mears also. He told me that Mears drivers all take the long way to get more cash.
