Cheap Transportation from Sanford Airport to Hotel

I am looking for a cheap option to get to and from Sanford International Airport to All Star Sports resort. Thanks!

Search on the Transportation board for Sanford town car service if that is the way you want to go. I know I've seen several threads about Sanford airport travel means over there.

The least expensive is a car rental. I just watched at Thrifty and had a minivan for 7 days, $233. That was a great find because at 6 weeks out the prices steadily raised until we left.hold a reservation and then watch for price drops, or last minute deals.

It is a minimal hour + drive, 57 miles away. Also, there are about $ 6-8 in tolls; then beware of the traffic. It had us so stressed as we traveled back to the airport.
Leave three hours before flight. Allegiant wants you at the gate an hour before, security can get busy even for a small airport.

We Loved having the car for park travel, off site eating, and a run to Walmart.

You can also do a one day rental when you fly in and drop off car on Disney grounds.
One company, I think Budget, has a facility at Doubletree Hotel in Downtown Disney. Alamo or National has a pick up at the Swan or Dolphin.
You can get a car a Sanford and stop for snacks/groceries/whatever then take suitcases to your hotel. The next morning take car to drop off then take their bus to park.
Book another rental for one day when you fly out.
Usually one day rentals are $20-$30.
It is not a bad drive. Take the 417 tollway. There are a lot of police checking speed, so do not speed.
