cheap places to stay in or very near to Sheffield!!

I am looking for some help from any disboard members that are in or know Sheffield well, I am looking for a relatively cheap hotel/B & B or even self catering accomodation in or around the area, as DS qualified for the British youth swimming nationals on Saturday and will be swimming at Ponds Forge on the 30th July and then again on the 2nd August - I need it relatively cheap as we fly to Florida on the 4th August (just what I need to be doing just before we go driving from londo to sheffield and back!!! - just joking I am proud that he has qualified and overcome the bullying that was taking place at the swimming club). Any help would be gratefully recieved - had a look on the web but not much luck at the moment as its peak hol time and the Nationals is a big event - I wouldn't mind a holiday camp but don't know of any in the area. What sort of price range are you looking for? There are a number of possiblities. There is an Ibis in the centre which I think charges around £43 - £45 per night. We have 2 Travel Inns - one near Meadowhall and one in the centre, a Premier Lodge (now part of same group as Travel Inn) - also near Meadowhall. The only thing with the hotel in the centre is that parking can be different to navigate to because of the one way system. PM me if you want any more details or telephone numbers etc.

There's a travel lodge in Sheffield, have alook on their web site as they've some special offers on at the moment. We've booked a family room (not Sheffield) for when we come back from our holidays for £26 for all 4 of us.
