We're going to WDW at the end of next month! Thinking ahead about some things we can do to save money and thought about buying light-up toys ahead of time. We're taking DGD6 and DGS2.5 so I will need stuff for them. Then, I figured that DS12 will want something as well.

Anyone know of any good websites to buy some light up stuff? Don't want to spend a fortune. I plan on going to Dollar Tree and buying the glow necklaces.

Thanks.

Our Dollar store had tons of stuff early last week as I got the necklaces and bracelets and some Princess autograph books and some other things with Disney on them

Walgreens is where I've found spinning light up stuff the last two years. The Disney store sometimes has the same ones as the parks too and occasionally they go on sale.

I bought a few things from www.premierglow.com for our trip last year. They have some products like necklaces that light up and are battery operated, so they are reusable. They have the glow products too, but I didn't get any of those.

My boys used them at Disney for 10 days on and off, as well as used them for a few other activities since then. They held up pretty well. I would not say they are high quality, but they have done pretty well for what I paid.

Have a fun trip!

My DD2 is a glow in the dark fanatic! I buy glow bracelets in the target dollar spot. I bought some at Dollar Tree and they were defective. :0( she also has a tinkerbell light up spinner from toys rus. As stated before the Disney store and Walgreens carry them as well. Have fun and light up the night!!

Check out the Dollar Spot at Target.

They almost always have a 10 pack of glow necklaces for $1. They are the thin ones, but that's okay, they are cheap enough to use the whole pack in 1 night for $1

Have Fun :)

Target had really cute light up sticks that have a rubber like ball on the end. My kids like smacking each other with them :rotfl: They were only $2.49 each. They wer on an end cap in the toys section.

I have found bags of 3 WDW light up spinners for $3.50 several times at my local Once Upon A Child. Amazing how many people buy all that stuff on vacation and dump it when they get home. I have found brand new ts and WDW plush NWT at Value Village too.

If you do FB garage sales(you should if you don't already) you can post asking for WDW park stuff and you'll get tons of responses. The prices are generally higher than a real garage sale but you can find exactly what you're looking for without much trouble. Recently got pirate ears for $5.

There is this website http://www.premierglow.com/ . They do have light up Mickey head spinners, except you need to purchase them in batches of 12, so maybe not so budget friendly. But they have a lot of other light up toys.

If you have a Disney outlet nearby, you could try looking there. In the back of the store they usually have a clearance area. I have many light up items and spinners there for $1.99-$3.50, and they look just like the stuff at the parks. You can also try looking at the Disney Store online. Every once in a while they have sales where you can get free shipping on any size order.

I get my DD's for trips at Dollar Tree. They are basically the same as the ones at Disney (maybe slight differences) but serve the purpose.

I got light up spinners at Target. Very cheap ($1-2 dollars). Look in the dollar sections and the party favor sections for all the light-up/glow stuff.

I bought them to take with us to Disney on Ice, and my nieces/nephew loved them. Disney on Ice was selling those light-up spinners for around $10-15! Granted, the ones from Target were smaller, but they lit up just fine.

So I spent about $6 on some spinners and glow necklaces instead of the $30-45 I would have spent buying them at the show. (AND I avoided waiting in the long line at Disney on Ice to buy them!)
