We are driving from Connecticut for the first time this August. We should arrive in Orlando at dinner time August 14th. We want to stay offsite somewhere on the cheap side, maybe with breakfast included in the morning?!?! We will then head over to the poly the next morning. Suggestions please!!!!!

Comfort suites next to old Town. I used hotels tonite and stayed there on Dec 22nd for 45 bucks. They have a breakfast buffet each morning included.

There is a BayMont Inn on BlackLake Rd in Celebration that is 5 minutes from the AKL. There is a McD right next to it. There is also a Super Target about 5 minutes away. To get to Target pull out of the hotel and turn right. When the road dead ends turn left. When that road dead ends turn right at the first traffic light turn left and there is target.

To get to AKL pull out of hotel turn left. When road dead ends turn left. At first traffic light AKL entrance will be on the left.

It has free breakfast too. $60 a night
THey have a room for 5 people

*** there is also a souvenirs store next door to McD's

There are lots of cheap hotels in August. We stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott by Sea World for $79 a night for a 1 bedroom, full kitchen and a hot breakfast. The same room goes for $200+ at other times of the year.

I would rather stay at a quiet name brand even if it costs $15-25 more to ensure I am getting a nice, clean room. We did the super cheap one time before the Beach Club and we nick named it La Cockaroacha and swore never again!

this is NOT Celebration - now I love where BayMont is located - Celebration is on the other side on town - in old WDW property.

Celebration is much nicer. BayMont is the old Holiday Inn then it because Home Suites -then it became another hotel and now is BayMont.

go to google maps and put in Celebration, Fl - it is a nice area but much higher prices than Kissimmee.

Depending on what you are looking for price wise... Royale Parc Suites, can get a nice 1 or 2 bedroom suite for the night, very nice breakfast included the next morning, 10 minutes from the entrance to the parks.

Yeah, we stayed there last trip for our extra day. Breakfast was great, and as always at CS the room was very nice but OMG it was party town at that place. I am used to staying at resort communities where it is lights out by 9 pm. There were teens running up and down the halls all night at CS so it was really loud. I am guessing that what normal "hotels" are like near Disney but be forewarned, it ain't quiet. Plus it was $108/night with tax, I am guessing for a 5 night stay you could get a condo or something for the same or better rate, even with cleaning fee if you looked on homeaway or flipkey.

Did you check the DTD hotels?

DH and I have gotten lucky and booked in the past

Holiday Inn, for 79.00 we are Priority club members, also AAA, check both for rates.

Hilton for 99.00 dollars, nice to walk over to DTD at night.

If you are driving, I 75 you might want to stop in Ocala, lots of cheap rooms, at brand name hotels, its about an hour + drive, On I -4 stay before you get into Orlando, will save you some bucks.

We love Staybridge Suites LBV. Great location, great breakfast! We got it for $75 per night last time we went...but it's usually more.

I also suggest the area just outside the DTD area. The previous post suggested Staybridge Suites LBV(just renovated, looks nice). Another option Radisson LBV(gets many decent reviews on tripadvisor) & there is a Fairfield inn LBV right near crossroads. That Fairfield Inn was a different hotel & they renovated it to a Marriott brand. The colors look very nice
