Cheap motel before we get to Pop

The wife and I decided today that since we are packed we may as well head on down to WDW tomorrow instead of on Saturday which is when our free dining vacation starts at Pop Century. We will be leaving at 5pm on Friday and probably won't get to Orlando untill midnight. Anyone know of a decent motel to stay at just for the night till we can check in to Pop.

I vote for the 2 Best Westerns near WDW. We did the same thing last year because someone (we won't mention names) was overexcited to get to Disney World. I got a great rate at Expedia and we spent the night there before our vaction officially started the next day. We didn't stay at the nice BW, but at the not so nice BW down the road a bit.

I don't know if this is the best rate, but we'll be staying a night at the Holiday Inn Express Lake Buena Vista East (5.7miles from POP) for $49. That's the advanced internet rate from their website.

STAY AWAY FROM THE KNIGHTS INN! Absolutely Horrible!!!!

Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista isn't bad for the price. The I-4 side of the hotel can be noisy, but otherwise its nice, and very convenient to downtown disney if you want to do that on your "night before the vacation starts".
