Cheap Hotel for January Chicago DIS Meet!! $33 per night for Hyatt Woodfield!

Just a heads up to those who are coming in from out of town. I just got the 3* Hyatt Regency Woodfield in Schaumburg on Priceline for only $33 per night. The Hyatt is close to Gino's for Friday night and not too far from the IMAX for Saturday.

Sounds like a great deal Robin! I hope others are able to use that great deal that you got! I wish I could, but with the distance I am driving I am just too wary of using Priceline for this trip (in case I have to cancel due to weather or something that is). I tried bidding for a 2-1/2 star hotel in Schaumburg 3 days ago on Priceline, and my bids up to $29 were all rejected. I made a back-up reservation at the Wyndham Garden in Schaumburg for $49. I was going to try again today for a 3-star hotel in Schaumburg, but was able to save an extra 10% off the $49 weekend rate at the Wyndham as an Entertainment member. I'll get 500 airline miles as a Wyndham By Request member and a few extra amenities. Just figured out the difference with tax and Priceline fee figured in - and my cancellable reservation at the Wyndham is only $6.48 more than the exact same deal at the Hyatt - so I think I'll stick with what I already have.

That hotel is very convenient to Addison, pretty much a straight shot down Rt. 53. It's right across the street from Woodfield Mall, so it's a great location.
