Hi peeps, I know there are loads of great information given on here so thought I would ask for some myself.

We fly out 28th July 2011 for three weeks in a villa and I have just been told we might get extra guests.

We are looking for the cheapest flights going out from Manchester on or just after 28th July for about 10 days for two adults and a 3 year old.

The best I have seen so far are with Thomson (who we are flying with) for £2,050 for the three flights.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to get them cheaper?

Thanks for reading.

Have you checked VA they have a sale on at the moment :)

Hi Netty and thanks for the tip. Just been on their site but coming up at £2,424.

Will keep trawling the sites. :surfweb:

Had a quick look last night, nothing from MAN, only way I could see of getting price down was from Birmingham and 2 stops at around £500 per adult, will look again this afternoon.

well you could always stowaway like that nigerian guy did last week in the US....that would save money...

Have you checked Expedia? Dh booked our flights for November / December on Friday... they had been £611 on Thursday, and then came down to £460 on Friday (Virgin)! Also expedia don't charge a credit card fee which knocks off a few pennies! (That was Gatwick though.. but still might be worth checking)

Did you check direct with VA? Nov into Dec are showing from £423.90. You do sometimes find cheaper elsewhere but VA statement is "You won't find the same Virgin Atlantic flight for less on any UK website, that's guaranteed."
Most dates around that time are £393.90 Miles and Money, they must be struggling to sell to be so low.

Don't know how that's happened? Dh has been checking everyday with VA direct and they've been up and down with sales and stuff, but this is the first time he's seen them below £500. He did see that they had come down to equal Expedia yesterday, but he went with Expedia due to the lack of credit card charges... Odd!:confused3

PS I've just looked on VA and it's quoting £463 per adult for our dates...

Expedia saying there are no flights available! I know there are flights available. Is this due to expedia only showing flights they have bought?

Thanks for the help peeps. The extra guests have never been before and just decided last min to give it a go.

Thanks Wayneg but I think two stop overs would just about do them in lol.
