cheap flights to Sanford out of Wilkes-barre

Just wanted to let everyone know......looks like they will be offering $69 each way flights out of Wilkes Barre to Sanford starting in March.

I saw that! I live about 15 minutes from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton airport. We were going to book Southeast airlines out of Allentown for early May. I was going to book this weekend. Did you call for any rate quotes? You cannot book online yet from their website.

That's true and not true. Yes, the new airline is offering $69 one-way flights to Orlando, but don't miss the fine print:

"Seats are limited at the introductory fare, capacity controlled and may not be available on every flight. Prices do not include September 11th Security Fee (up to $10); PFC's up to $18; segment fees up to $12."

So the fare really isn't $69 one-way; it could be as high as $109, or even higher, once the extra fees are tacked on. And there's no guarantee you'll even get the $69 fare, or that the airline will continue to offer it past the 'introductory' period.

I called JetExpress to get a quote for the planned trip in early May, I was quote at a rate of $158 round trip, that includes all taxes according to the agent.

The rate is bases on capacity of the plane. Currently she said the flights I picked are "wide open" for this rate. We plan to book this weekend.

The flight leaves AVP at 6:45AM, arriving at Sanford at 9:15AM. Return leaves Sanford at 7:45PM, arriving at 10:15PM.
