Cheap(er) Disney Tickets?

Well, the wife has talked me into going back to Disney again this year. I would have never thought I would go twice in less than a year but we had a good time so why not!

Anyways, last year I bought our Park Hopper from Hertz or some car rental place at quite a good discount but I see that now Disney has the Magic Your Way thing going on instead of Park Hoppers.

My question is, is there anywhere to get discounted park tickets now or is getting them through Disney about as good as it will get? Since I didn't think I'd be going again so soon I haven't kept up with Disney stuff as much as I did last year in anticipation of our trip so I need some help with this one.

Thanks

I was just wondering if there were cheaper places to buy tickets rather than Disney. I don't have AAA so that wouldn't help any. I just remember saving a lot of money last year by ordering my tickets elsewhere and wanted to do the same this year.

Yes, there are other cheaper places to buy tickets rather than Disney. umaangel00 mentioned one - Ticketmania. If you sign up for the Mousesavers newsletter (it is sent the 15th of each month), there will be links for an additional discount at Ticketmania as well. But there are a number of other places as well. Unfortunately my mind is like mush tonight and I cannot think of any others.
Hopefully one of our other Budget-teer will help us out. :)

I've checked every single safe and reputable place that has been suggested and ticketmania newsletter link is the cheapest. I have found one other place cheaper, but that's through my wife's work (GM).

AAA has tickets available only in some states. California AAA doesn't sell tickets without buying a package.

Is there anywhere where you can buy only a one day ticket? Can you even buy a one day Park Hopper ticket?

Is anyone willing to share their mousesavers code from the newsletter? Thanks alot. Have to buy four 6 day hoppers and sounds like this may save me more.

Is this the same mousesaver newsletter that you get emailed weekly? I have never seen the code for the discount ticket.
thanks

There are two different ticket brokers that are offering discounts to Mousesavers subscribers. I'm pretty sure as soon as you sign up, you are sent the latest newsletter. As of yesterday, you could get the 5 day ticket w/hopper, expiring for $225 adult / $188 child. It was the same price for both of the ticket brokers that are listed.

I just got my tickets through the mousesavers.com newsletter from ticketmania.com. It was a pretty good deal and ticketmania was great to deal with. After I ordered my tickets on line they called me to confirm my order before they mailed them out. Just sign up for the newsletter. :flower:

I don't know if anybody already mentioned this, but the discounted ticket prices are a link-through in the monthly newsletter that comes out each 15th. So, go to mousesavers.com and register for their newsletter and you'll have what you need in a couple of days from now.

I was very happy with ticketmania. They sent Orlando coupon books withthe tickets too - so It was pretty cool, as it helped to get us psyched.

Another thing to consider...we went for 5 days of park, and (some of us)bought 5 day hoppers w/expiration....at the end of our trip, Disney let us upgrade the tickets to 10 day no expiration tikets....the price to do this was far less than buying another round of five day tickets...however, we'd have gotten a slightly better deal to buy 10 day no exp. tickets thruogh ticketmania to begin with (though buying them down there did let us spread the charges out, we looked at what we had spent in Orlando, and knew we could afford the upgrades) If you ever plan to return to WDW, this is something to consider, as ticket prices surely won't be going down.

I used Discount Orlando and got the 3day park hopper with one day visit to PI or DQ for 197.00. Was that not a good deal? I keep seeing all these posts for Ticketmania was that better?
