Wholesale Clubs, don't recall seeing Wholesale Clubs included before this year.

My card had grocery stores and wholesale clubs for April-June. What did yours have? Now for Jul-Sept they have wholesale clubs and restaurants.

Those are the categories for everyone's Chase Freedom.

news.... wholesale clubs apparently added thru the end of the year!

To bad Costco doesn't accept a VISA credit card. Just debit.

i heard that the wholesale store cat was extended because of costco, since there is only less than a month for ppl to use the Freedom card at costco.

I was wondering if they did this as an incentive for customers to use their Chase Freedom card to earn 5% rather than the new Citibank Costco Visa which only earns 4%.

4% is for gas only... i believe citi visa @Costco returns at 2%...
Yep, that's what mine says -

4% on gas
3% on restaurants and travel (better than my Sapphire)
2% on Costco
1% on everything else

Although as an Executive member with costco, I get 2% back on all purchases, but I think that is independent of how I pay.

would be nice if Costco visa earns TYP though... Id probably use my freedom still over the costco visa.

I just used my Chase Freedom VISA to buy Disney gift cards at SAMs Club, which has them at 5% off, then got 5% back with the Chase VISA. Good deal.

Does anyone know if table service restaurants qualify for the 5% cash back bonus that Chase is offering in this same calendar period? So far, I've only seen discussion about buying gift cards at Costco, but we're heading to Orlando at the end of July, so it'd be pretty great if the 5% also applied to all the places we have ADRs.

It think I found what I am looking for here : http://www.disboards.com/threads/ha...egory-is-it-considered.3396173/#post-53368860

If anyone has had a difference experience with onsite restaurants showing up as a different credit card category please let me know.

We got the 5% at Disney restaurants during our last trip. Counter service too I believe.
