I'm with you...I like the old version of Test Track better. We actually skipped this in June and August...just not worth a fastpass for us anymore. You had a very nice room at the Beach Club...LOVE that master bedroom (just wish I had liked BC more than I did).

I'm not a Mexican food person, but those nachos look yummy.

We loved the Beach Club. DD loved the pool especially. We had six days there, but dang it seemed like only two. It went by so fast.

Following along!

We we like to drive a night too. It really makes the driving portion go faster since the kids sleep through most of it.

I absolutely love Beach Club! If I ever get to stay at a deluxe it is at the top of the list.

Absolutely can not believe that Dad let his kids pee in the bushes! Unbelievable....

I agree that driving at night makes it seem like you get there faster. DH likes that there is no traffic and since the rest of us are sleeping, there are less bathroom breaks .. LOL

Beach Club was awesome. We REALLY loved it. Can't wait to stay there again !!

Yeah - the kids peeing the bushes was nasty.

We loved the Beach Club. You can't beat the proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios !!

Yeah, DS is all about being cool now and riding the "big kid" rides. It is very sad.

That's too funny about that tree - never noticed it! Leave it to a man to have an eye for that.

That's some long lines for Spaceship Earth. It was closed earlier in the week so we had to wait until the day before leaving to ride it.

yeah, I'm another diser that's not such a fan of the new Test Track. I don't care to be locked in a room to design my own car.

I hated the other pre-show worse. I don't like the revised ride track. It was more exciting the other way.

Day 1 – Part 3

While the boys were resting, DD and I went down to the Marketplace at Beach Club to get some dinner.

They were rolling out the Rapid Refill mugs while we were there



DH's mug deactivated somehow and we had to get it reactivated. For the most part it was OK, but it was a pain at times when it wasn't working right.

DD got the Cheese Flatbread



She gets this on a consistent basis and really seems to like it. A good go to meal for her.

And a red velvet cupcake for dessert



She mostly ate the chocolate decorations and the frosting off of this, but she ate some of the cake part.

DS got the ham sandwich



He loved the chips, but wasn’t too happy with the mustard they put on the sandwich.

And a cupcake for dessert



He said the decorations on this were not tasty but the rest of it was.

DH and I split the Turkey Sandwich



This was good. It had brie on it and it would have tasted better if they had heated it and made the brie all gooey, but still it was a good sandwich.

Plenty for two people.

And the carrot cake for dessert



This was really good.

And last, but not least, we couldn’t pass on the Oreo Bon-Bons



Sooooo good!!

On this evening, we had a Dismeet planned. It started with my friend Tammy. We had been trying to meet up for a couple of trips now and this was the time our trips overlapped enough for us to meet up. Then Tammy’s friend Colleen and her family were coming. And then Tammy and I invited my longtime bestie Lauren and her daughter to come meet us and then, I invited my friends Melissa and her daughter Meg. So it morphed into quite the party. The plan was to meet at the campfire at Fort Wilderness.

We are going on a Disney cruise over Thanksgiving and I had been playing with designs for Fish Extender gifts. So I thought it would be nice to bring my friends some little gifts. Here’s what we brought:

Some tissue holders



I got some dollar store cups and some Disney themed punches







I punched out images from sheets of sticky back vinyl and made these cups







I filled them up with candy and gave them to the big kids.

I made these little coin purses for the ladies







And some crayon rolls for the little guys



I was excited to see my friends and hand out my gifts.

It was a little difficult to get DH moving, but we finally got into the car and headed towards Fort Wilderness where Tammy and her family had a camper set up.

When you go to Fort Wilderness, you have to park at the front of the resort and take an internal bus to where you want to go. So we parked and caught a bus. The driver missed our stop, but that was OK. The next stop we came to we saw Melissa and her daughter Meg !! I knocked on the window and feverishly waved to them and thank goodness they recognized me and didn’t just think I was a crazy person. We exchanged hugs and I handed out gifts. Meg and her mum (this is what Meg calls her mother) just moved to Orlando from Boston. Just picked up and moved. They are super brave if you ask me. They were getting settled in their new place and Meg was starting her new school. She has a TR going about their adventures.

I think they were foreign. They were certainly speaking a different language. It was just gross though.
