Long time, no comment. But I'm back! Lot's to catch up on so here we go...
Yay !! Thanks so much !!
Glad you enjoyed Fantasmic! I'm not a fan, but then there are people who are not as ga-ga for Wishes like I am. I can't imagine not seeing it on a trip to WDW. Just the thought makes me want to cry right now.
I like Wishes best, too. But DD wanted to see Fantasmic again and since we were just a boat ride away, it seemed a goo time to go.
Swolphin is pretty cool, no? That's where my niece's cheer gym stayed when they competed at WDW a couple of years ago.
DS and DH went over there, but I never did. They both said it was really cool.
That globe is pretty darn cool!
It is really beautiful. I just loved it.
Chocolate- I'm not one who prefers my chocolate "plain." I like chocolate + something else.. chocolate and peanut butter, chocolate and caramel, etc. However, the older I get the more I find I am craving chocolate in general, and I'm getting to where I want it "plain." And speaking of chocolate, those oreo bon bons look soooooo good!
I love ALL chocolate. All of it. Except the imitation stuff. Because it is just nasty. And those bons bons were AMAZING !! Yum !!
DD's pirate outfit..Fabulous!!
She was all about that outfit. Talked about it for days !!
Boo for in face flash brigade. People operate in such a bubble now. If the flash blinds you when you take the photo, why wouldn't it blind everyone else around you. The machines aren't self-aware...yet.
They were so clueless. We were so mad !!
Dude, I do not get the hat and jeans in the million degree heat either! I guess if he's comfortable and not complaining...but still..what up with it? I guess they all have their fashion sense, or lack of it as is the case with my DD. One of her band friends told her she didn't know how coordinate her clothes. Since I won't let her out of the house looking foolish, I was pretty offended.

This kid wears all black all the time though, so I guess coordination means monochromatic to him.
I don't even know. He had to be hot, but ... whatever. I chose my battles. Your DD always looks cute to me. But I am not the fashionista that other people are. Seriously, I just don;t care. As long as I am comfortable and clean - I'm good. Thus, the crocs with socks.
The Pirates League looks like such fun. She picked a great makeover. I want to go now!! I wonder what my pirate name should be. Hmm... I think Mrs. Killian Jones (aka Mrs. Captain Hook) sounds about right.

I wonder if I could get that on a certificate?
We really enjoyed this experience. I highly recommend it. I know what you mean about Captain Hook. that man is gorgeous !! And you would be Mrs. Jones. And you would have a thing goin' on. There's a a song in there somewhere
YAY for BOG!! Glad you got to try it. Did your DD get her ham samich with that cheese? She didn't have to. The Croque Monsieur is the only thing my DD will eat there. She gets it w/out the cheese and substitutes veggies for the french fries, cause, you know, she's a tater hater. I love the West Wing. It is so dark and relaxing.
I thought she might eat it, but I was wrong. I understand that we could have gotten it without the cheese, but after waiting so long, I just didn't want to bother with trying to figure it out. Next time !!
Okay my friend, while I agree FP reservations have messed up the waits at BOG, I must put my foot down...No covering on the bridge to BOG!! I know it is hot. I've stood in that heat, more than once, but to cover that bridge would destroy all the amazing work done there. I know I am in the minority. I stand on my soapbox alone waiting for the rest of the world's slings and arrows. In the end I feel sure Disney will destroy what they've built, by making some sort of gaudy shade covering. They did it at the Haunted Mansion..there's precedent. Okay, I will step down from the soapbox now.
I completely agree that it will totally destroy the architectural integrity of the facade, but ...... it was hot out there. Real hot. Perhaps after a year or two, the popularity will wane a bit and they will not longer need cover.
Your pool time- you wrote the pool was less crowded that day. I believe you were wrong. The pool was DESERTED that day. Oh my goodness, no one was there. How did that happen??!! That must have made for a great afternoon! Gotta love September!! (I know I do!)
Yes !! We LOVE September. We had to forcibly remove DD from the pool. She LOVED it !!
Awwww...how happy Miss Singedskull looks at Beaches and Cream. Me likee that place even though I can't eat the ice cream. That bridge is a great place to watch Illuminations! How wonderful the two of you could just pop over and see it!
She was happy about her balloon and her ice cream. Can't you get the non-dairy stuff? They have it there. It is a great place to eat.
We really enjoyed Illuminations that night. It was a great place to view it for sure !!
And back to Epcot! We skipped HS this last trip (as well as the one before). Of course that had more to do with our time line being shortened due to work, but eh..it'll be there next time. I'm all for getting in all the Figment you can before the pavilion closes. How crazy is it that your DH just bumped into his cousin! Weird, wild, stuff. I once ran into a former colleague of mine that worked in our manufacturing plant in NY . We worked on a project together in 2005, and four years later I see him at the Food and Wine festival. It really is a small world after all (insert groan here).
Small world - haha.
Can't wait to live vicariously through your next cruise adventure. My DD I begging pretty hard for a cruise. It'll have to be Alaska. Not sure I can take the whole boat thing unless it is for some where I really want to go! People tell me just to start with a 3 day cruise, but I gotta be honest, kind of feels like a waste of time. If the port were closer, then maybe.
