I'm sure you can guess but I'll help you a bit. My name is Charity, shocking, no? I'm a 29 year old (almost 30!) wife and mother.
Let me first introduce you to the people who are most likely to show show up in my journal.
This is me!
This my wonderful husband and I..this was taken back in 2005.
My son Carter
and daughter, Rayne
and here are my furbabies
Zelda
and Mittens
Ok now that that part is done. I'll tell you a bit more about me.
Growing up I never had a weight problem. I was always thin but then I had kids. Being pregnant gave me permission to eat for 2 or was it 30? Well with my son I went from 130lbs to 206! That's a 76lbs gain in just 9 months!
(in 1999)
Not long after my son's birth I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. My levels were funky though one minute they'd be bad the next they'd be fine so I wasn't sure the doctor knew what he was talking about. I didn't take care of myself like should. I didn't take my medication but honestly I seemed to be better and I even dropped 40lbs that first year after he was born.
So here I am at around 160lbs (in 2002) when I get pregnant with my daughter. On delivery day I weighed in at 236lbs!
Yep another 76lbs gain.
In 2004 my husband and I decide to get married on our wedding day I was 219lbs. Not exactly what i wanted to weigh on my special day.
