Las Vegas Charging to Your Resort Room

How does charging to your room work at Las Vegas hotels? Can you just charge within your hotel, or if your hotel belongs to a parent company, (like Harrahs), can you charge things from other Harrahs/Total Rewards properties as well?

i have been able to charge at various CET properties while staying at bally's and at paris. some places just don't have that ability though (like evening call in the paris/bally's tunnel). numb in caesar's can't take a room charge even if you're staying in caesar's because they are independently owned. you'll just have to ask when you're ready to pay (or call ahead).
