Charge to room for restaurants?

For restaurants not on the dining plan, such as Fultons and Rainforest Cafe, can you charge your meals to your resort room? We'll be staying at either Poly or Beach Club.

I don't believe you can since they are not owned by Disney but someone else should confirm that.

We were able to charge T-Rex and Build A Dino on our KTTW card. It is owned by Landrys the same as Rainforest so I would guess that Rainforest would be the same.
I had a moment of panic at the restaurant when the check came because I was only carrying the KTTW card - but they allow charging no problem. The just don't do the DP.
