We are getting ready for our first "real" trip home - to the Boardwalk Villas. (We did a short trip this summer and stayed at a studio at the new BCV - which we really enjoyed.)

I believe that there is a $6 charge for parking at the BWV, however, I thought this charge was waived if you are a DVC member. I have spent quite a bit of time pouring through the DVC members webpages along with looking through my Guide book, and cannot find any reference to this. Does anyone out there know if it is a fact that this parking fee is not charged to DVC members - and that we could enjoy the benefits of valet parking with just the cost of the tip?

Also, where can I find the list of the discounts for restaurants, etc. that is available to DVC members?

Thanks!

NO CHARGE for members parking at BWV while staying there.

Have a GREAT TRIP!!!

There is no charge for Valet Parking for DVC Members at BW, WL & BC, regardless of where they are staying, just show your member card. Non-Members are charged $6 for Valet Parking at these resorts. DVC Members are charged $6 for Valet Parking at non-DVC resorts. Self Parking is free at all WDW resorts for everyone.

Member Discounts are on the member website.

Mary Lou...just a reminder...it's still appropriate to tip the valet parking personnel the same as if you were paying for parking.

Have a wonderful trip!

Valet parking is free for all DVC members at all the DVC resorts that offer this and it is a wonderful amenitity for DVC members staying at other resorts and coming to the boardwalk for dinner, one of the clubs, the nigttime entertainment etc or going to VWL for dinner etc.
........BUT,,,,,, let us please remember this parking is for when you're at this resort for dining etc NOT a place to park for the day while you and your family go to Epcot, MGM or MK! As a BWV owner, I can vouch that this is very annoying when you can not get a parking space in the resort where you are a guest because there are cars in the spaces that have no business being there.
I will now get off my soap box, boy, that felt good!
To the OP, this personal vent was obviously not meant towards you since you will be a BWV guest, btw, definitely take advantage of the valet parking it is much easier than trying to find a spot in the self parking lot due to a large number of cars that should not be parked there.

In addition to the above comments ... any guest with a handicapped parking permit is also given complimentary valet parking at all WDW resorts that offers this service.
