Charcater Dining in Hilton Head?

Is there character dining at the Disney Hilton Head Resort? We will be staying at an oceanfront resort, but would love to drive over to the Disney Resort for a meal. I know we ate with Goofy and Max at Vero Beach.

Check out the resort anyhow, it's really beautiful. You can always shop for souvenirs in the little gift store, to get that "character fix!"

There is no full-service restaurant at the Hilton Head DVC Resort. They have one counter service place (Signals) at the Beach House and a take-out window (Tide-Me-Over) at the main pool complex.

We've been to the HH resort several times and I haven't ever seen characters there. The resort is beautiful, however, and definitely worth a look if you've never been.

Which resort are you staying at? There are many great places to dine. For a casual lunch or dinner, I'd recommend Wild Wings, even if you're not usually a wings person.

If you want to check out the resort during the busy period they might not let you in the gate. I have been stuck behind folks trying to take a peek the the front desk will not raise the arm. the main reason they do this is because parking is very limited. one thing people can do is park at the shelter cove lots and walk across the bridge to the resort. it is a nice walk. then you can see the resort and not be turned away. If it is not crowded they will sometimes give a 30 min parking pass. As for the beach house, you will not get pass the Palmetto Dunes guard shack without a pass. If you are at the hilton or marriott, it is inbetween the two hotels. you can see the dvc resort from any shelter cove rest. and also from the right side windows at the Old oyster factory. Not only is there no character dinning at HHI, there are no characters that you would be used to. HHI has two characters all to itself. B'lou and shadow. A cast member and his dog.

Thanks for your replies. We are staying at the Hilton and then driving to WDW. About how long is the drive?

It is, roughly, a 5 hour drive from HH to WDW.
