Chip and Dale: In the Netherlands they are 'Knabbel en Babbel', in Spanish 'Chip y Chop', in Italian 'Cip e Ciop', in Jugoslavian 'Cik i Cak', in the near East 'sanjub wa Sanjoob', and in Portuguese 'Tico e Teco'!

And here is the whole list of Entenhausen citizens, in German with English counterparts! Very few are the same name, save for Donald, Pluto, etc (and even SuperGoof is the same.... one of my alltime favourite characters)

Various characters in German:

I think that the Peter Pan characters are the same, with the exception of Tink - Glöckchen

Sleeping Beauty is Dornröschen

Cinderella is Aschenputtel

Ariel (Little Mermaid) is Arielle

Alice im Wunderland and the Grinsekatze (Cheshire Cat)

Robin Hood I believe all are the same except for spelling Prinz John

Winnie Puuh, Ruh, Ferkel (Piglet), I-aah (also spelled Eeyore), the rest are the same I believe except for Eule (Owl) but then he is not in the parks

Aladdin I think that all are the same except for spelling Dschinni

Pinocchio all the same I think except Ehrlicher John and Die blaue Fee

The main Toy Story characters are all the same

Die Unglaublichen – The Incredibles

Chicken Little - Hühnchen Junior

Monsters Inc - Mike Glotzkowski instead of Mike Wazowski

Now here is one from my childhood that is very different! Susi und Strolch - Lady and Tramp (they count as 'in the park' due to Bella Notte restaurant... ;) )

I can't recall any more characters off the top of my head - but ask away and I am sure that Marcus and I will have answers.....

Bavaria, have you ever done somthing else in your live than Disney? :lmao:
And yes I can confirm that there was a name change for Chip and Dale from A-Hörnchen and B-Hörnchen to Chip and Chap in 1991 when the Disneyclub started on TV.

Goofy's a dog as well and Im sure hes the one who is Dingo in French- Pluto is just Pluto

Rarely! Actually, in the 1970's there was more Disney things in Germany than in North America available (unless one went to the Disney parks)

We were lucky!

Having googled google images it appears that you are correct.

Now I am wondering why all the French lads were calling me Dingo when I had my Pluto ears on... At the time I thought they were being friendly, then when I found out what Dingo meant I realised they were calling me Nutcase, now I am even more confused! :lmao:

Italian:

Mickey Mouse: Topolino
Minnie: Minni
Donald Duck: Paperino
Daisy Duck - Paperina
Huey Dewey Louie: Qui Quo Qua
Uncle Scrooge: Zio Paperone
Goofy: Pippo
Pluto : Pluto
Chip 'n Dale : Cip e Ciop

Here in Italy we have a girlfriend for Uncle Scrooge whose name is Brigitta McBridge and a sister to him too - Grandma Duck -Nonna Papera , not sure of they are just *italian*or are known worldwide.
