Hi All,
We will be down in early June and just curious as to how many of you have been at this time of year and what the characters out and about were like, I would imagine they are out like they normally are but maybe just for shorter peroids of time but just wanted to check. Also does anyone know where the characters can be found at each park if it is raining? Just curious, any help is appreciated. Thanks so much. :)

There will still be a good amount of characters out in the Summer, but they do take more frequent brakes since it is hotter outside. I usually go in the Summer and again in December around Christmas and usually I tend to see more of the harder-to-find characters in December, but Summer still has a good number of characters usually out as well.

As for rain, I know at MK they will usually use the Expo Hall (behind the camera shop at MK) and the exit to Hall of Fame as a rain location. I'm not sure if any of the other parks have them. I was told that MGM and AK do not have any rain location, and I'm not sure about World Showcase. Even though some of the locations are inside there (UK, France), they do have to enter them from outside. They may be moved to the Character Connection at Innoventions if it rains, but I'm not sure.

meeko,
Thank you so much for the advice. I was hoping there would be a good amount of characters out in June, I didn't think they weren't out, but just wanted to be sure, I figured they probably took breaks more often, but maybe early morning might be good since it might be just a wee bit cooler, but thank you so much for the advice. And thank you also for the rain location. Anyone else who has any advice, it is always appreciated. Thanks so much. :)

Try to catch the character bus at Epcot at the entrance to WS. The time guide will list it and there are a bunch of characters on it. We caught it 2x last June and got tons of autographs!

Don't worry about rain. If it starts to rain, stay in the parks. Just put on a poncho or hang out inside somewhere. It never rains for very long and it is actually a blessing because it thins the crowds out and cools the temperatures down.
