I'm wanting to make both my kids a autograph book with all the character pages for magic kingdom and animal kingdom. Could someone help me with all the names. E-mail is tmh1973@earthlink.net Any suggestions welcome. Wanting autograph with character picture or sticker on one page and then space for photo on the other.

Thanks for any help

Are you planning on having the pages signed by the characters directly in the autograph book? This could be tricky, as many characters can't 'see' all that well, and it's been our experience that they just flip to an unused page and sign. If you are in a queue where there is only one character, you could have that page ready, but if there is more than one, people might get testy if they have to wait for you to find the 'correct' page for a character to sign. Or the characters might just sign before you get a chance to find the 'right' page.

This website has some info about the characters at each park:

Another great site is www.wdwcharacters.com

I made autograph cards for my kids. I printed their names on the top of the card, Walt Disney World on the bottom of the card and a clip art picture of the character on the side. I only made one set of cards for all 3 kids and they just took turns giving the cards to the characters. I printed on blank 4 x 6 index cards. Then after the trip we put the card and photo of the kids with the character into a photo album. The characters really loved them. Especially some of the less popular characters like Friar Tuck and Robin Hood. I did make a special set of cards for my DD when I took her for her birthday. Those cards I dated for the special occasion but I generally don't date the cards and then if we don't see a character I can bring the card back on the next trip.

I bring a small clipboard for the characters to sign on and I sort my cards by "group" into a coupon sorter. I find it easier to find the cards if I have say all of Peter Pan together and see Peter Pan with Wendy or Captain Hook with Mr Smee. The clipboard, pen and cards all fit in a gallon size zip lock.

Here's an example:

lovesdumbo, your book is so cute! I love it. Did you get the clip art from that site you posted? The link doesn't work for me, so I'm gonna look around for some elsewhere. Thanks for sharing your picture!

how about this link?

That is a site that has the characters that are in the parks and rates how likely you will be to see them.

I mostly used this site for my clip art:

Thanks so much for those links! I've been searching through the one with clip art and saving some of the ones I want to use. That site is awesome. Thanks again.

Thanks for all help. However I still have a silly question. How when doing the autograph pages in word do you enlarge the clipart and still make it look good and not distorted? I was going to do 8x8 pages but am now thinking I should do 6x6. Any suggestions or comments.

From my experiences with clip art, you can't make it too much bigger than it already is without loosing picture quality no matter what program you're using (Photoshop doesn't help much with enlargement quality). I've done pretty good at finding larger clipart at http://www.disneyclips.com/ (This is the site I usually get a lot of the images from when I'm designing t-shirts) Hope this helps! :)

Please pm me your email address. I have a autograph book template that someone sent to me. I believe it has over 100 disney characters. It's gorgeous. I printed mine out today on cardstock. Now all I have to do, is take it to Office Max and they will bind it for me. It came out so good.
It might be of a help to you. There are even a few blank pages to make your own or for that character that someone forgot.
