The next princess that would be gracing us with her presence was none other than Belle. This is the princess that Emma was most excited to see, especially since she was dressed like her that night.
Suddenly, the music started, and they were announcing the arrival of Princess Belle. If you remember from my last post, we were sitting at the table that the princesses visted first, so I was so excited that Emma wasn't going to have to wait long to meet her twin.
Belle started toward our table, and Emma jumped up out of her chair. Without saying a word, Belle grabbed Emma up in the biggest, sweetest hug ever.
After she hugged Emma, she looked over at us. Belle covered her mouth and said "They told me she was out here, but I just didn't believe them. I didn't believe them at all!" I seriously thought she was going to cry. She kept grinning and holding her hand over her heart. It was so precious! Of course, I cried, and tried my best to get pictures while she talked to Emma and signed her autograph book.
Belle had a lot of other tables to go to, so we knew we wouldn't get to spend a whole lot of time with her. She and Emma talked a few more minutes, and I was able to get a couple of pictures before she had to move on.
Emma was on cloud 9 from getting to meet Belle. She knew that she was dressed like Belle was in the beginning of her movie, but she had NO idea that they would be dressed alike on that night. She talked a mile a minute the rest of dinner.
Meanwhile, our entrees were brought out. I had the stuffed chicken, and DH had filet (i believe). Honestly, the rest of our dinner was pretty much a blur. LOL
We finished our entrees, then dessert was brough out. Then they did the "wish" thing which was absolutely adorable.
We finished our dessert and the waitress had just cleared our table when someone started to sneak up behind Emma.
Belle finished her rounds at all the other tables, and came back to visit Emma again!
She sat down at our table, and began to have the sweetest, most candid conversation with Emma EVER.
Belle asked Emma how old she was, what her favorite color was, and what her favorite thing to do was. Of course, everything that Emma said, Belle said she liked too! Emma said that her favorite thing to do was read, and Belle was ALL OVER that. She asked Emma what kinds of books she liked to read, and Emma said "princess books". Belle asked which princess she liked to read about. I almost died when Emma said "Sleeping Beauty". But, Belle said "ME TOO! Did you know that I was reading about her at the beginning of my movie?" She started to quote things from the song that she sang in the movie to show Emma that was WAS reading about Sleeping Beauty! I swear, it was the coolest thing ever!!!
Belle sat there and talked to Emma for quite a while, and one of her handlers suggested that we move to a better spot to get some pictures with her.
Before we left, Belle gave Emma another great big hug, and a big ole' kiss on the cheek.
The entire experience there was so wonderfule, but getting to watch Emma spend all that time with Belle was absolutely priceless. I wouldn't trade it for anything. It was such a wonderful moment!
I just couldn't believe that Belle came BACK to our table to talk more with Emma! I'm still in shock about it!
I wish I had a picture of it, but what she wrote in Emma's autograph book was so sweet. It said:
"To Princess Emma, my twin.
All my love,
Belle"
