Does anyone know if you can still get a free wake-up call to your Disney Resort hotel room (like from Mickey or Stitch)? My son would get a kick out of it but I didn't know if they still had that program running...

I believe you just call the front desk the night before. Not sure what characters are currently available.

They sure do. You don't even need to call the front desk. There should be a wake up call button right on your phone. It's an automated system and you have to do it each night. I rely heavily on my Disney wake up calls because I sleep very hard at Disney and have a terrible tendency of sleeping right through my normal cell phone alarm.

That is a cute idea. Of course, I would need a Disney villain to rouse my butt out of bed...

You don't get to "choose" a Character.:)

Currently when you use the Wake up call button on the Resort phone you will get the "classic" wake up message from Mickey Mouse.:)

Oh boy!Are we glad you're here!

Big doins' going on!

So let's get started!

See ya real soon!

Past wake up call Characters have been Stitch(for a LONG time),Olaf and Baymax.:)

Wake up calls are fun & can be a nice surprise! :mickeyjum

Back in 2003 I got someone (Mickey Donald or Goofy- I can't remember ) to call our room & wish my husband a Happy Birthday. A card was also sent up autographed. My kids loved it! ( and yes I am sure the phone call was just a recording)

My daughter when she lost her tooth at our resort had Mickey dollars delivered under her pillow by :tinker:Tinkerbell instead of the tooth fairy! She even left a little note!

( yeah yeah it was me..............but she didn't know that)

Anyone know if these wake up calls are available at the Swan?
Swan may have a wake-up call of some sort, but AFAIK,the current wake-up call from Mickey Mouse below is only at Disney owned WDW Resorts.:)

The "wake up call" is a "fixed" message that is the same each time a Guest requests a "wake up call" via the Room telephone.:)

Mickey does the current Wake up call with:

Oh boy!Are we glad you're here!

I LOVE this wake up call! Thanks so much for telling me they got rid of Stitch. When they went to him yelling in my ear in the morning, I stopped getting wake up calls and instead used my cell phone, with Dory telling me to "Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming" every morning. But I'll definitely ask for a wake up call next time I'm there-I miss Mickey-he really did sound glad that I was there!

I couldn’t get the wake up call to work. I was at Pop, BRV, and BCV and tried the first night in each one and it didn’t connect. I should have tried harder but I was solo so not a big deal for kids to hear. Probably a fluke on my part, I admit the simpler something is the more difficult I make it!

I couldn’t either. It would thank me for calling to set a wake-up call, then disconnect without giving me an opportunity to set a time for the call. I called the front desk the first couple of nights and they set it for me, but the third night, no one ever answered the front desk phone! I thought that was strange. Same thing next night, so I gave up.

When we were at BCV a bit over a week ago, the wake up call was from The Incredibles (Bob Parr)--obviously promoting the upcoming release of the new movie. We had a wake up call every day and it was the same.

Awesome!:)

It is always good when they "change it up"!:)

They left Stitch on WAY too long!lol:)

I will miss the "classic" wake up call from Mickey though!:)

I am currently staying but at Disney’s Beach Club a DVD’s the wake up calls for my trip were from Winnie the Pooh, I always grew up on the Mickey/Stitch one. I’m glad to see they’ve changed it up a little.
