i think i read that they stopped doing the tea party in pizza planet is there any tea party available now and where? also what charaters appear at this one?

thanks if anyone knows.

I think its at Lucky Nugget now but the characters will differ so it cannot be guaranteed you will see anyone particular

dont do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol its a complete scrum in there, and not alot of choices of sweets, and not replenished quick either!!!

seriously - i wud save ur money for sumthin else - as the characters struggled to make their way around, as kids wud bombard them as soon as they came out - so with ur dd bein little, she wud struggle a bit i think!

thanks for that. its a pity they cancelled it at the pizza planet. she loves toy story. i will just think of something else for her. there would be no point in paying if its the same scrum as in the park

You might be better off going to the DLH at 4 and treating yourself to a cocktail. That way your DD can see the characters for free, hopefully without the scrum.

very good plan!!!! we did want to do that, but never quite got round to it..... maybe next visit ;)

It is a shame that they have cancelled the Toy Story one in Pizza Planet, my daughter LOVED it.. It was brilliant when we went, the characters really interacted with the kids, even played in the play area with them.
It wasnt busy when we went so it was nice and calm and me and hubby relaxed while Hannah played. It was also a nice big place to have it, plenty of space etc.. the buffet was nice, a good selection of sweets, but would have been nice to have some savoury as sweets got a bit too sickly after a while.
It was also not too expensive and we enjoyed the whole experience, and my daughter keeps on and on about it until now.
So we have some fantastic memories of the Toy Story Tea Party.
I wonder why they stopped it :confused3

If i was you i would probably do something in the DLH too, its a lovely atmosphere in there :)

My daughter enjoyed the character dancing at 4pm in the DLH .. it was free, didnt pay anything extra and it was a nice way to see the characters without queues and mayhem!

How do you enter the Disneyland Hotel?. Can you just walk in, or do you have to produce your passes etc?.

We are going the first week in Feb and did book the Tea Party but after reading the reviews i am going to cancel.

My DD (2) would love to see the characters though.

Do you have to eat or drink there in order to see the characters?.

Thanks in advance.

Anyone can go into the Disneyland Hotels public areas (and any other onsite hotel too) regardless of which hotel you are staying at. The entrance to the Disneyland Hotel, if you are coming out of the main park, is at the left hand side of the park gates, just past the turnstiles and not far from the Guest Services office. Theres a revolving door into the Disneyland Hotel :) .

Sorry another negative post re Lucky Nugget ......we had booked for 5pm Boxing Day and it was a scrum to get in, a scrum to the food, the food platters had all ran out and no extra was put out, my son cried when someone took the last doughnut, bless him, I couldnt even see any drinks, what characters were there were being mobbed, it was hot and cramped....shall I go on! lol ;) Anyway, my husband demanded a refund which he got and we swiftly left.....

The characters at the DLH were fab, it was great fun and they stayed for ages, loved it!

Thank you both.

We took my DD in march last year but i did not know this, but you can never get everything done on your first visit.
I am ashamed to say that we didn't actually realise that it was a hotel until we were home and looking at all the disney hotels for future stays. Duh, we just thought that it was the entrance to the park.

Luckily i have now found this forum, so will hopefully be able to gather a lot more hidden gems like this.

So is 4pm the daily time for the characters in DLH? and can you find out which characters will be there?.

We are going Mid week. 4th and 5th Feb, staying at the Explorers.

Thanks again
