Hi everyone,
I've taken a tour through this board. WOW!!! There are some truly talented artists here!
I could really use some advice. I'd like to personalize some tiedye shirts I bought from tiedyusa. They are single-color-family shirts in medium shades of blue and green. I was thinking of doing iron-on designs of character silhouttes. The designs I've seen here are AMAZING, but I'm afraid all the colors would get lost in the "loud" tiedye. I haven't decided yet if I should do the silhouettes in black or white. Or is there something else I should consider? I'm not looking for personalization of the image if that helps.
Also, I'm having a hard time finding clipart/images of Disney characters in silhouette. If I find an image I like, is there a way to turn it into a silhouette? I'm sure that's a dumb question, but I know nothing about graphics programs. Or is there some treasure trove of Disney character silhouettes that I haven't found? The traditional Mickey head isn't too hard to make, but I would really love to have one of Stitch and one of Crush.
Oh, and maybe one of the castle.
Anyway, any ideas for putting simple Disney characters onto ...vibrant... tiedye shirts would be most welcome.
Thanks a bunch!
