Character signing of arm cast on child

This has probably been asked here before, but could not find in search.

My grandson (3 years old) will be at WDW a few days while on a general Florida trip. Sometime between 12/9 and 12/16.

He broke his arm last night and will most likely will still have a cast on his arm then. Will a character sign the cast if asked, or do they not want to do that (liability concerns)?

Sorry the little guy got hurt. Hope this trip at least gives him something to look forward to, and that he heals quickly and completely.

Yes, they will sign casts! My DD broke her arm 2 days before we left for WDW. Her doctor lightly outlined where he would cut the cast off. The characters just stayed away from that line and now she has a wonderful souvenier from Disney World
